For the Orthodox population of Podlasie, the village of Puchły is an important center of Marian worship. In the parish temple there is a particularly worshiped icon of the Mother of God. The church is founded on a cross plan. It has a log structure. Maden, with a narrower apse (presbytery) closed on three sides and two rectangular panomarks (sacristies) on the sides, in the western part the pritwor (porch) is crowned with a bell tower, entrances preceded by porches. The unique building was entered in the Register of Historical Monuments on February 27, 2003 under No. A-55.
