Kryczeska (krynica, source), formerly known as the Miednoje forest, after the name of the stream flowing nearby is a place of annual pilgrimages for the feast of the Holy Trinity. Nearby there is a wooden church built in 1846 dedicated to the Holy Maccabees, belonging to the parish of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God in Dubiny. At the well, a small wooden chapel was built in 1848 from the victims of the local faithful. According to cultivated by Orthodox legends, the cult of the holy source in the Mednoje forest was still known in the 13th century and was associated with the existence of a small monastery founded by monks fleeing Tatar invasion. Another legend says about the miraculous revelation of the icon of the Mother of God on a nearby tree.
